Rummy Couldn't Have Said This

Donald Rumsfeld via The Washington Post:
"Clearly, the United States government has not gotten to the point where we are as deft and clever and facile as the enemy that is perfectly capable of lying, having it printed all over the world, and there's no penalty for having lied," Rumsfeld said at an afternoon news conference at the Pentagon. "Indeed, there was a reward [for the enemy] because a great many people read the lie and believed it."
No way he said that with a straight face. That from a man who's part of an administration that has fed the press and the public lies for years. Amazing.

Nothing the old man says surprises me. He's become a parody of a doddering fool and no one has the nerve to tell him he's lost it.

But he has definitely lost it.

I think he'll be gone soon. I think that's the next big staff/cabinet change for the Preznit.

I hope not. The Rumster is so good for comic relief . . . and is the perfect face for the tragedy of errors that is our gummint these days.

I don't know....Cheney's inability to tell the truth can get pretty humorous.
