Need a Place to Check In While BlueNC is Down?
Thought I would leave a little welcome post up just in case friends from BlueNC stopped by while the site is moving to a more secure server. Come on in and grab a hot mug and a warm cookie.
I hear the debate went very well today and that Robin Hayes was not prepared for a candidate as strong as Larry. Larry did not back down on job creation and free trade. I'll tape the debate and maybe get it on Youtube.
This race gets more and more exciting as the days go by, but it's keeping everyone busy and that's a good thing. I'm phoning and would love help for those of you who have cell minutes available. I will send you a phone list if you let me know you want to make calls.
What's going on in your favorite race? What are you doing to get through these final tough 3.5 weeks?

I actually baked peanutbutter cookies, but was too lazy to pull out the camera and take my own picture.

Robert, I'm going to need someone to teach me how to get it from my DVR to the computer. I don't know how to do that.

Good coverage Momo. I bumped your MyDD post back up to the Rec slot. I've added my own post about Vernon's failure to respond to the FEC in a timely manner.
So, this is where you are hiding out. Please let me know when and where I can see the video. I keep waiting to see Larry ahead of flipper, because I know it is coming. There is a radio ad running in the 8th that says flipper is for school teachers and Larry isn't. Can you imagine that?
I just emailed that to the campaign. They probably already know, but it doesn't hurt to pass it along.
That's a joke, especially since the teacher's union endorses Larry.
Todd and Robert, I will bake some fresh cookies and if I can't get the video to Youtube b/c of lack of skill, knowledge or hardware, then we will have a screening of it in my living room and scarf cookies while we watch.

i'm practically burnt out for this election cycle, to be honest. between school, work, and grad school applications i'm rarely finding time to do anything.
I am going to be at the Fair on Sunday at the NCDP booth, since thats basically the only day i have free. Other than that I may just lie in wait for the last push in November.
Oh and i saw a new Vernon ad yesterday, well the end of it, and he was basically looked like he was trying to play statesman instead of racist.
nick d - I think Vernon knows he's considered a joke by most of the intelligent free world. Then there are people like Virginia Foxx......................
